Summer Internships
For current college students and recent grads (within 1 year)
Hire diverse, driven interns to fill your summer roles. The Script matches your company with college students and recent graduates eager to contribute while gaining real-world experience. Interns are prepared for success through mock interviews, professional development events and resources, and a supportive peer network. Employers provide structured, full-time internships with one-on-one mentoring throughout the summer. This is your opportunity to shape the next generation of talent and contribute to a more inclusive workforce.
What you provide your interns:
- A 30-to-40-hour workweek for 10-12 weeks
- $18 per hour wages at a minimum
- Transportation reimbursement or a remote work setup
- Regular one-on-one mentor sessions with a designated employee
2025 Timeline for Participating Companies
January 16: Sign-up deadline for companies seeking interns for summer 2025
February 17: Deadline for submitting internship position profiles on The Script portal
Feb 18 – March 31: Matches are procured as candidates apply
April 1 – May 1: Companies conduct interviews with candidates and make offers
June: Kickoff event in Portland, OR, with all companies and interns
Associate Positions
Full-time roles for recent college grads (within 5 years)
Recruit qualified early-career candidates for full-time roles through The Script’s Associate Program. The Script associate candidates are recent college graduates from underrepresented backgrounds, are pre-qualified, and are ready to make an impact. As an employer, you’ll provide a pathway for long-term career growth and leadership. You’ll help early-career professionals thrive in an inclusive work environment while fulfilling your company’s DEI initiatives and ESG strategy. Leverage this opportunity to bring fresh perspectives to your team and foster diversity.
Find qualified, diverse candidates
Streamline the recruitment process to find diverse talent. The Script’s sophisticated matching technology and pre-vetting process ensure you will get matched with highly qualified and diverse candidates with the potential to excel in your organization. The Matching Process
Choose your plan and submit position profiles
Access The Script portal to check your company’s eligibility and choose the plan that works for your company. Once your account is created, submit position profiles to start the matching process.
Get matched with candidates
The Script uses position profiles to match candidates with the skills and qualifications you’re looking for. Companies will receive up to 3 matches for intern positions and up to 6 matches for associate positions.
Engage with qualified candidates
Reach out directly to the candidate(s) you’d like to connect with or request a new matched candidate pool. Then coordinate with the candidate(s) to follow your company’s interview process.
Hire and retain talent
For summer internships, you’ll make job offers to your top candidates by May 1. For associates, make an offer when there’s a fit. Then, welcome your new employee and connect them with a mentor to foster belonging and success.
